Mike Patton’s Tētēma Will Make Its Live Debut at Mona Foma 2017

Mike Patton will debut his band Tētēma early next year at Mona Foma. This performance will be the group’s first ever. The festival runs from January 18 until the 22 in Hobart, Tasmania. Tētēma will perform on the 21st. Tickets for the festival go on sale Monday, October 17 and the full festival program will be released on Wednesday, October 12th.

The group consists of Patton and composer Anthony Pateras. Their album Geocidal was released on December 9th, 2014 via Ipecac Records. The album includes the popular single “Tenz“. It also features a variety of other artists on clarinet, vibraphone and more.

Patton is also set to perform at Sacrum Profanum in Krakow alongside Evyind Kang. They will put on a special performance of Kang’s Virginal Co Ordinates. He will also perform Luciano Berio’s Laborintus II with the Ictus Ensemble.
