New York City based Gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello has announced a series of fall 2016 tour dates.
The band is infamous for its tireless touring schedule throughout both Europe and America. They have also appeared in a number of films. Charismatic and off the wall lead singer Eugene Hütz appeared alongside Elijah Wood in Everything is Illuminated, as the eccentric, American pop culture obsessed Alex, whose running mouth often gets the protagonists into trouble. Additionally, Hütz appeared as the protagonist of Filth and Wisdom, an independent film directed by Madonna. The cult hit band has a dedicated fanbase which follows them throughout all of their various touring and artistic exploits. Their stage theatrics have earned them the public eye, as they often feature huge crowds of people playing various European folk instruments and dancing elaborately on stage. The band’s previous tour, Gypsy Punks: Underworld Strike Tour, was well received by fans and newcomers alike earlier in 2016.
