Billy Ray Cyrus is currently working on the release of a new album called Thin Line. From the production of this album, the artists releases a singled called “Angels Protect This Home” featuring Miley Cyrus.
The song fills with a soft guitar and an electronic wave. Miley has sings the song in a faded voice. This gives the song a type of country atmosphere. The song is shown below.
Billy got the idea of a collaboration when Miley gave him a Tibetan singing bowl for his birthday, since then he has used this to create the song. In an interview, had stated “I never had a bowl like that that you hit, you know, with a drumstick and it just reverberates and makes that sound.” The album itself includes many artists such as Shooter Jennings and Joe Perry.
The album will focus on the concept of how he balances life. When he described Thin Line to Taste of Country, he had said “How I live my life; it’s a balance between art and reality.”
In the past year, the two artists have covered a Def Leppard song with Steel Panther in a live performance. This event was at the House of Blues where the artists covered “Pour Some Sugar on Me”.
