The 2016 AAHH! Festival returns in Chicago, IL for a two day festival on September 24-25.

The festival adds a new set of list of well known hip-hop/rap and R&B artists. Along with live DJ battles, food, games, a health and wellness zone, an arts zone and a college and career zone. The first day is open to all ages as a community stage where friends and family can join and have fun, and where local talents can audition for their chance at the main stage the next day.

The lineup so far features well known artists in rap/hip-hop like J.Cole, an artist and producer, The Roots, a band that mixes rap with neo soul and Common. a artist, actor, film producer and poet. On the day these artists are performing, there is an 18 or older age limit.

Recently the features of the festival have been hard at work creating new forms of entertainment. J. Cole has recently been working with Kendrick Lamar on a new album, which may expect some delay since J.Cole is also working on a solo project. The Roots will continue performing at different festivals after the AAHH! Festival. After this event, they will travel to New York for the Roots Picnic and then travel to California for the Monster Energy Aftershock festival. Common, also known as Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr., has recently finished his role in Suicide Squad. Common played as Monster T in the movie Suicide Squad.
