If you like deathcore, you’ve come to the right place. Both bands are from New Jersey, so it makes sense that they would decide to share the bill together. Even though Fit for an Autopsy has gone through numerous name changes, they have managed to continue the original heavy sound they engineered in the beginning. Since 2010 they have consistently toured and put more shows under their belt then some bands play in their entire career.
When listening to Lorna Shore’s discography, it becomes fairly obvious that their music has gotten heavier with age. Managing to tour with bigger bands within similar genres like Chelsea Grin and the Black Dahlia Murder, they have proved to be an up-and-coming band within deathcore. The three albums that they have released show growth and different styles, perhaps due to the lineup changes.
There are five bands playing and tickets are only $12 – that’s what we call a steal. If you’re interested in supporting local bands (you should be), No Zodiac and TanZen are straight out of Chicago. Face Your Maker has amazing artwork to go along with their two albums full of heavy, dark jams. It’s definitely worth it to see all these great bands for such a small price.
