Watch: PIG Releases New Video For “Found In Filth”

The Gospel is the newest album from the London based artist <PIG>, scheduled to be released by Metropolis Records on September 9. The band merged with Revolver to debut their song and low budget”off the cuff” style music video. Check out the video below!

The album is, “a collection of cautionary and caustic songs from which this slice of vice ‘Found in Filth’ is taken for your delectation and delight”. The mordant quality of Raymond “Lord of Lard” Watts’, founder and sole member, lyrics is prominent in recounting tales of “wickedness and woe”. Delivery of their newest single takes on a darker orchestral sound with mosaic like beats of which the video represents artfully but not as grittily as the lyrics.

ZJSimon. “Low budget video for an off the cuff song FROM ONE OF THE MOST INNOVATIVE AND UNPREDICTABLE MUSICIANS OF THE PAST 30 YEARS! PIG’s music videos have never reached the meat of how epic and horrific the songs can get. Dig in deep, people.” September 1, 2016, 11:00 p.m. Tweet.

The Found In Filth video features Raymond Watts center, presented almost God-like with one hard light lit from below. Produced similarly to The Diamond Sinners, an underlying sense of menace is pronounced with a washed out thrash metal production mixed with sampled S&M style videos. Focalizing on pain and the desire to give in to perversions, gives the audience an in your face reflective piece on vulnerability and lustful gluttony.

PIG has a unique way of expressing the carnal pleasures of humanity and allows us to seek truth within ourselves of what we allow to inhabit our thoughts. Some we choose to dwell on, others we choose to act on. Raymond just chooses to be raw about the truth.
