This fall a new band with familiar faces steps out in Los Angeles. In association with Colombia Records, an anticipated band with an all-star cast will release a debut album on October 28th, 2016. Headed by Nick Valensi, CRX will release their album New Skin in late October. Valensi, the guitarist of The Strokes, will take the lead on vocals and play guitar for the band. He is joined by Darian Zahedi on guitar, Jon Safley on bass, Ralph Alexander on drums, and Richie James Follin on keyboards. Moreover, an all-star is only raised to higher standards when they have the likes of Joshua Homme of Queens of the Stone Age producing their work. Recently, Homme has been connected with Iggy Pop as both have been working on an album together. Even more, Andrew Scheps was the mixer of the album. Scheps has worked with the likes of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele, and Green Day which, in union with Homme, may establish a resolute sound for CRX.
New Skin has 10 tracks as follows:
- Ways To Fake It
- Broken Bones
- Give It Up
- Anything
- Walls
- Slow Down
- On Edge
- Unnatural
- One Track Mind
- Monkey Machine
