Jane’s Addiction Announce Sterling Spoon Anniversary Vinyl Boxed Set For October 2016 Release

Jane’s Addiction have announced their “Sterling Spoon Anniversary” to commemorate the release of Ritual de lo Habitual as well as the first ever Lollapalooza. The anniversary festivities have already begun with a tour that started in July. Each night of the tour Ritual de lo Habitual is played in its entirety.

In October the group will release the Sterling Spoon Box Set. The set is a six LP collection and includes Nothing’s Shocking, Ritual de lo Habitual, the vinyl debut for the concert recording Live from the Palladium in 1990, as well as several demos, live takes, and rarities from 1997’s compilation Kettle Whistle. Sterling Spoon will be available on October 21 for $99.98.

The set mainly focuses on the group’s original lineup including Perry Ferrell (vocals), Dave Navarro (guitar), Eric Avery (bass) and Stephen Perkins (drums). Cover art for the set was produced by LA based Ernesto Yerena. Check it out below.
