As the release date for their upcoming album, Rock Band Devin Townsend Project has just released a new single called “Secret Sciences,” which has managed to already rack up more than 57000 views since being dropped on Friday.
Devin Townsend’s vocals seem to echo throughout the seven minute track as he seems to be singing about letting go of a woman, and finding solitude within himself in times of weakness. In the song, he rhythmically says

Unable to react in a way that’s even logical
Yet all right here it seems so clear
Your reaction is the problem, and the outcome is impractical

And all thy secret sciences are found

The single is the newest song to be dropped from Transcendence which is supposed to be released this September. The band has also dropped “Failure” which was the first single fans heard from the record.
