Amanda Palmer Songs To Be Released as an EP and LP Exclusively Through JIB Kickstarter Campaign

Amanda Palmer’s music is set to be part of Michael McQuilken’s project JIB. JIB was originally McQuilken’s directing thesis at the Yale School of Drama in 2011. Now, The Windmill Factory and Old Sounds Room have joined forces to bring back the project. The show will be performed live in Philadelphia in December of this year. A film version of the show will be made as well as a full length album. The project creators have begun a Kickstarter campaign with an ultimate goal of bringing the show to NYC in the near future.

Amanda Palmer and Jason Webley are composing songs this month for JIB. Michael McQuilken will fully orchestrate the tracks with a rock band to be presented with JIB’s score in the show, film, and full length LP. The acoustic versions of the songs will also be released as a separate EP. For a Kickstarter pledge of $5, donors will receive a digital single from Palmer and Webley. For $10 or more, donors will get the entire album. Check out the full Kickstarter page for more details.
