Maha Music Festival has just announced their 2016 lineup including Passion Pit, Grimes, and Car Seat headrest. Local as well as national artists are set to take the stage. Maha Music Festival was started in 2008 with focus on community, not profit. This year’s festival will take place at Aksarben Village in Omaha, Nebraska on August 20th.
Not only does the festival host a variety of musical acts, it also contains what they call the “Community Village”. The Community Village contains a mix of non-profit organizations that provide entertainment to festival goers in the form of crafts and games. This year the festival has paired up with Nebraska Medicine as their Community Village sponsor to provide education and resources to those in need.
Tickets are $55 in advance and will be $65 on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased through the festival’s website.
