Prophets of Rage Announce Debut EP The Party’s Over For August Release

The supergroup Prophets of Rage have just announced their debut EP The Party’s Over set for release on August 25 via Caroline. The group includes Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commerford, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real. They are on tour starting this month in Virginia. Check out a full list of dates below.

Earlier this summer the group appeared at the Republican National Convention in Ohio. At the convention, the group started with a set onstage and then transitioned into a march. During the set, the group played “Killing in the Name”, and “No Sleep Til Brooklyn”, among other songs. These two live versions will be included on the EP.

Besides appearing at the RNC this summer, Prophets of Rage also released a new single “Prophets of Rage“. The track is a re-work of the same titled song by Public Enemy. It features new music and a new verse by Cypress Hill’s B-Real. “Prophets of Rage” is on the EP along with four other tracks. Check out the full tracklist below.
