Supergroup Giraffe Tongue Orchestra released a new video for the song “Crucifixion” off their album Broken Lines, which will be released September 23.
“Crucifixion” is the second song released from Broken Lines. The first track , “Blood Moon” was released just last month. It features Alice In Chains singer William DuVall and members of Mastodon and The Dillinger Escape Plan. The two singles have been extremely well received by press, radio, and their rapidly growing fan base.
The black and white video for “Crucifixion” is loud, explosive, and in your face. Director Oleg Rooz helps turn the video into a statement with its fast-cut clips of GTO’s performance of “Crucifixion” interwoven with footage of historical events. The video might not sit well with viewers because of the footage shedding light on recent controversial events. You will see political protests from Hitler and Fidel Castro speeches, war zones, riots, and pure madness. The visuals flow perfectly with the lyrics and the impassioned shots of the band members playing draw you in.
“Crucifixion” is the debut single from Giraffe Tongue Orchestra’s forthcoming album Broken Lines through Party Smasher/Cooking Vinyl. Watch the official video, below.
