Canadian punk rockers, Sum 41, have announced that they will be coming to New York City this October 14th with Senses Fail to perform at Playstation Theater in Manhattan.
The band just recently announced that they would be embarking on a full-blown US tour this fall, and they’re calling it their “Don’t Call It A Sum-Back Tour.” The name might be a bit cheesy, but it was definitely the kind of “Sum-back” that these guys need. The band has been relatively quiet over the past few years due to a series of line-up changes and medical concerns, but that’s finally starting to change. In addition to their upcoming tour, the band is also scheduled to release their first full-length record in 5-years, 13 Voices. They’ve already released their single from the album, Fake My Own Death. Check it out.
New Jersey’s screamo/post-hardcore band, Senses Fail, will pair up with Sum 41 for the duration of the US tour. Senses Fail is also another band that has had to suffer through constant line-up changes since their formation in 2002. But even so, all those changes haven’t stopped their consistency, and they continue to tour and regularly write new material. They’ve recently hopped over to Pure Noise Records where they released their latest album, Pull The Thorns From Your Heart, in 2015. Check out the song, The Three Marks Of Existence, from that album.
