Placebo Announce Retrospective Album A Place For Us To Dream – 20 Years of Placebo For October 2016 Release

Placebo is notable for being a cornerstone of Alternative Rock in the 1990s and early 2000s. They made their mark with hits like “Running Up That Hill” and “Every You Every Me.” Now the band is back to release an anthology of their greatest hits and is expected to be released later this fall.

The “retrospective” album, in other words greatest hits album, will be entitled A Place For Us to Dream and will be released via Rise Records. A Place For Us To Dream is expected to drop on October 7th, 2016 and will span the twenty years of Placebo’s hit career.

The album will be released as a deluxe vinyl set that includes a pink and black vinyl, a double CD set, and as a digital release. In addition to including the band’s hit songs, it will include new songs such as “Jesus’ Son.” This particular new song will also be released as a single on September 1st and will also be released on an upcoming six-song EP called Life’s What You Make It.
