Heads up, New York City – Rap/Hip-Hop legends, Cypress Hill and Naughty By Nature, will be teaming up this October 28th to perform side by side at Terminal 5 in Manhattan.
For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past 25-years, every year Cypress Hill throws a huge Halloween party that they like to call Haunted House. For die-hard fans, it is one of the highlights of the year, and one of the best opportunities to catch Cypress Hill in action nowadays. However, the band will be performing without their trusted, veteran front-man, B-Real, due to his current involvement with rap/rock super-group, Prophets of Rage, which formed earlier this year. B-Real, A.K.A Dr. Greenthumb, announced his role in the new group earlier this year where he will be playing alongside members of Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, and Public Enemy’s Chuck D.
The Grammy Award-winning rock stars of hip-hop, Naughty By Nature, will also be performing at this year’s Haunted House. Throughout the 90’s, Naughty By Nature took East Coast rap by storm. So much so that they won the first Grammy for “Best Rap Album” ever in 1996 with their overwhelmingly successful record, Poverty’s Paradise. After a brief break-up between 2002 and 2006, Treach and Vin Rock have been back at it like it was still 1995. Check out their song, Feel Me Flow, that was on the award-winning record.
If you want to catch Cypress Hill with Naughty By Nature for this year’s Haunted House at Terminal 5 on October 28th, tickets go on sale this Friday, August 5th. You can pick them up on AXS for $35.
