OWSLA affiliated electopop trio group Heartsrevolution have released a new video for previously released track “Kishi Kaisei”. The track, a bubblegum pop production doused in sugary keyboards and buzzing synths, featured prominently on 2014 debut LP, Ride or Die.
The new video is a disturbing summertime creation, featuring a dizzying array of colorful creatures in city surroundings. The single link between the video’s numerous scenes is a man in a rabbit costume, who appears throughout the duration of the video dancing alongside costumed adults and children. The rabbit suit is green and white, with a pink strip across its eyes.
Heartsrevolution have only released a single LP, Ride or Die, along with four EP’s and numerous singles. Ride or Die received acclaim from multiple sources, including mxdwn. In 2008, the group featured in NME’s annual “Future 50” list, which ranks ‘the innovators pushing music forward”. The trio famously arrives to shows in an ice cream truck, which Rolling Stone declared to be the top vehicle of SXSW 2014. Watch the video for “Kishi Kaisei” below.
