With a name like Vomitface, it has to be good. A three-piece from the East side of America, the sound they produce is a new response to the 90s grunge and new wave scene. This band makes you want to lock your bedroom door and just headbang along for several hours.
Unlike a lot of contemporary bands, they doesn’t overdo the screaming or the fuzz effects on the guitar, instead placing them strategically to propel each song into greatness. Performing alongside them will be Wet Wallet, a husband & wife music duo.
Wet Wallet’s music can best be summed up by the following word choices: eclectic, dance party, original. There are no signs of borrowed ideas or music here, just strange noises put together in a pattern that is surprisingly listenable and something that everyone should see live. Tickets are only $7 and the event is 21+ (sorry kiddos). The Empty Bottle is always a good time and with these two talented bands, this will be a night you won’t want to miss.
