UTOPiAfest has officially announced their lineup for their eighth annual music festival. The festival takes place in its usual spot in Utopia, TX, where thousands will gather to hear some incredible music, plus plenty of other activities to help remove the person from the real world and be able to live a weekend of fantasy. The lineup includes several big name, as well as local artist, that would excite any music lover, with artists such as White Denim, Rubblebucket, and performing for their only scheduled festival of the summer Ratatat. The festival will take place from September 29th through October 2nd.
UTOPiAfest is a unique camping festival offering up incredible musical performances, mental and physical activities, and family-friendly experiences, all while being able to catch that West Texas Hill Country Sunsets that shine onto the festival grounds. The festival will be returning to its usual spot, in the natural amphitheater on the 1,000-foot acre Four Sisters Ranch, providing an alternative to the usual large scaled festivals that attract more quantity than quality of attendees. This 2-stage setup caps itself at 2,000 guests so that the experience, which is often lost at larger festivals, can be preserved, also allowing more space to dance and frolic, without having any overlapping music from nearby stages. Camping is free for both cars and RV’s, and even though there are plenty of food options provided by the festival, it is not necessary since you can bring your own food and drink into the camp or festival grounds, making this festival one of the most affordable experiences out there on the festival circuit.
The festival provides a vacation from society and invites you into their tightly-knit community, UTOPiA festival encompasses all the best parts of the festival experience, music, performances, quality people around, enjoyable activities, and great grub, while at the same time minimizing the bad parts that go with larger festivals such as claustrophobia (from too many people), expensive refreshments, lines and pushing at shows, paying for car passes, and walking miles to find your camp grounds.
