Steel Panther is famous for combining an outrageous duo: crude humor and metal music. A self-proclaimed “parody” band, they perfectly exhibit the ridiculousness of the lifestyle of 80s glam metal icons. Tight leather pants, leopard print, and overuse of eyeliner are just the beginning. Along with the outlandish style, these guys gave themselves stage names that reflect each of their extravagant personas.
If you have any doubts about these guys, the real kicker isn’t their image or the way they parody metal bands on stage – it’s their raw talent. Each member of the band is insanely talented at their instrument and have taken time to study the habits of metal music. Michael Starr’s vocals are inconceivably far-reaching, able to hit notes as high as David Lee Roth (while making fun of him). Satchel’s guitar style is fast, furious, and topnotch to watch live. And Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia channel the bass and drums into a hard-hitting pair that provide the backbone of the band.
If you’re looking to see an entertaining show with some hilarious and completely inappropriate antics, Steel Panther is the concert for you. Because of the questionable amount of obscenities and sexual innuendoes, the concert has been rated 17+. Tickets are currently on sale for $31.50-33.50.
