Post-hardcore band, Touché Amoré, recently announced that they would be performing in NYC this September 8th at Terminal 5 in Manhattan.
Touché Amoré made the announcement earlier this month – an announcement that comes with a sigh of relief from fans. The band has been relatively quiet in recent years, but it seems as if the band could be back at it. Their latest record, Is Survived By, came out three years ago, and the band’s frontman, Jeremy Bolm, has recently had his attention set on his side project/hardcore supergroup, Hesitation Wounds, in recent years. But the California-natives recently released their newest single, Displacement, last week. Check it out.
Also performing at Terminal 5 as a special guest performance will be UK alternative band, Basement. This flannel wearing, 90’s garage-rock revival group has made quite a name for themselves since their formation in 2009. They went on a brief hiatus after coming out with their critically acclaimed record, Coulourmeinkindess, in 2012 that landed the US Billboard Top 200 Albums in November that year. The band announced their reunion late last year and followed that up with the release their third full-length record, Promise Everything, in January this year. Check out the title track from that album, Promise Everything.
For all those two-stepping, shoe-gazing, 1990’s kids out there, this is a show you don’t want to miss. Tickets for Touché Amoré with Basement at Terminal 5 are on sale now on Ticketmaster for $30. See you there.
