The new-age heavy metal band, Trivium, will be stopping in New York City this October 11th to perform at Irving Plaza as part of their upcoming 2016 US Tour.
The veteran metal band will hit the road later this year for their Silence In The Snow Fall Tour in support of their latest release, Silence In The Snow. The record was released in 2015 and was the seventh full-length effort for a band who has undergone many changes over the years. The band first caught the attention of metalheads in 2005 with their second record, Ascendancy, which captured more of a melodic, speed metal type of sound. A decade later, Trivium has nearly perfected a heavy metal sound that can’t be found anywhere else with Silence In The Snow, which appeared at number three on U.S. Billboard’s Top Rock Albums in its first week. Check out the music video, Blind Leading The Blind, that appears on the record.
The band will be accompanied by Swedish heavy metal band, Sabaton, during the US tour. The Scandinavian metal group will also be touring in support of their newest record, The Last Stand, which is set to be released on August 16th. The record, like most of their previous efforts, is a concept album that will capture historical, defensive battles. The band released the official teaser for the upcoming record last month. Check it out.
