Portishead’s Geoff Barrow says he will produce your next album. Barrow is auctioning off a day in his studio to support the UK’s Breast Cancer Care charity.
He’s opened a JustGiving page seeking donations. Barrow has the bar set at £5,000 for his JustGiving page and is about 84 percent of the way there (£4,227). He is promising the person who donates the most money for Breast Cancer Care can visit him at his Invada Studios.
He tweeted this on July 14th.

The producer is also playing in a charity football match in Bristol on July 24th, with all proceeds being donated to Breast Cancer Care.
Earlier this year Geoff Barrow’s Beak> released a new song titled “Timeshare” which was featured on the soundtrack for the British thriller Couple in a Hole.
Then Portishead dropped their first formal recording in 6 years and it is a cover of ABBA’s “SOS”.
Is this a sign that Portishead are ready to get back in the studio. We will just have to wait and see.
