Heavy metal power group Trivium from Orlando, FL, have announced the details of their upcoming North American headlining tour. Making stops all over the U.S. which will include several mainstage festival appearances such as Rock Allegiance, Ozzfest Meets Knotfest. Louder Than Life, and several more, this tour looks to be one for their record books. Special guests Sabaton and Huntress will also be featured on the new tour and will be joining the band on stage at most of their destinations.
The tour will begin its trek on Sep 15th in Columbus, OH, moving from East to West, stopping at some gnarly venues, and as the tour gets towards its last 2 weeks, the band will be returning East and moving down to their home state, performing three separate shows in Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and finally their hometown in Orlando, where they will be performing at the famous House of Blues to close out their epic tour.
According to Blabbermouth, frontman Matt Heafy commented on the excitement pending on the band’s upcoming adventure; “America! We’re coming back to party with all of you. This year has already seen countless cities in numerous countries, and now is the time to bring it back to our home country with our brothers and sisters of metal. We are beyond excited to have one of our favorite bands on the planet, Sabaton, on the bill; and we are absolutely stoked to have the incredible Huntress out with us as well.” Concluding with “We will be bringing you a show to remember; playing all your favorite tunes off your favorite records.”
Sweden based Sabaton also had comments to make on the tour; “On the “Heroes” tour, we came to North America three times and now it’s time to return. This time we will do it with our brand new album The Last Stand, which will hit stores on August 19th. This means that fans in North America will be able to enjoy the new songs before anyone else. We are joining the great band TRIVIUM for the full run and are sure that fans who come to see us will have a great evening!”
All bands involved seem to be extremely excited for this newest tour, which bodes well for the fans upcoming experience.
