Today Jenn Wasner’s Flock of Dimes has released the first single off of her debut album If You See Me, Say Yes. The electro-acoustic pop single is titled “Semaphore”. The album was written, performed, and self produced by Wasner. Wasner also had help from collaborators Mickey Freeland and Aaron Roche. The record is out on September 23 on Partisan.
Besides Flock of Dimes’ new album, Wasner’s main band Wye Oak released a new album, Tween, earlier last month. Wasner started Flock of Dimes as a solo project in 2012 where she could experiment with new synths and electronic beats.
Along with the new song release comes a tour announcement. Flock of Dimes will embark on a North American tour starting this October in Santa Fe. The tour comes to a close on November 12 in Austin. On the tour, Wasner will be playing her newly revealed signature Reverend guitar, the JW-1. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
