It may be a common occurrence that celebrities have their share of stalkers, but it never ceases to be a very unsettling reality. Luckily for Chris Cornell, his stalker has been arrested just outside one of his shows.

Chris Cornell, most notably known from his band Soundgarden, has had a stalker for the past couple of years. As Consequence of Sound reports, Jessica Robins was arrested outside one of Cornell’s solo performances in Louisville, KY.

The police managed to apprehend the stalker after venue securities at each of Cornell’s shows were given a photograph of Robins and the instructions to bar her from entering.

Robins had been arrested before for stalking Cornell and was given a sentence of house arrest and the recommendation to stay away from the internet. However, Robins managed to break out of her ankle bracelet and kept herself hidden for a while.

It’s definitely a good thing that Robins has been arrested, as she had posed a great threat to Cornell and his family. In an earlier instance, it was reported that Robins had broken into his house in Miami, and Cornell subsequently took his children out of public school, in fear of their safety.

Chris Cornell has been touring around the country in support of his latest solo album, Higher Truth. Before that, however, Cornell was also involved in other projects, such as recording for the soundtrack to HBO’s show Vinyl, and reuniting with Soundgarden.
