WATCH: Toro y Moi Release Trailer For Upcoming Concert Film Live From Trona

According to Stereogum, American recording artist and producer Chazwick Bradley Bundick, or better known by his stage name Toro y Moi, has announced that he will be releasing a new concert album titled Toro Y Moi: Live From Trona, featuring a brand new live arrangement preformed in California’s Trona Pinnacles.

The film that will go with the album was directed by Harry Israelson features hand-drawn animation, behind-the-scenes VHS footage which presents the private show, and also a documentary element which features the album’s recording process that the artist used in the Mojave Desert.

Pitchfork reported that a trailer to the film was released earlier in order to excite fans about the upcoming music that Toro has been working on.

The concert video was co-produced by Vimeo, marking their first ever original in-house concert film, and will be released to the public digitally on August 5th, with a physical limited edition 2xLP pink vinyl set on November 4th. There will a screening of the film which will be held at the House of Vans in NY on August 2nd, as well as one at the Ace Hotel DTLA in Los Angeles on August 4th, which will feature a Toro Y Moi DJ set.

 

This newest work will provide any fan with the ability to see the artist perform live without having to leave the comfort of their chair, enhancing the fans experience and showcasing his live capabilities.
