WATCH: The Melvins Release New Video For “Hideous Woman”

The Melvins just released a video for their new song “Hideous Woman”.  The track comes from their new album Basses Loaded, which was recently released by Ipecac Records.  The album includes an all star lineup of some of the biggest names in bass, including Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic.  Going along with the title of the song, the video, directed by David Hall, features a fairly hideous woman living her life amongst trippy graphics.  She even spreads mustard on her feet at one point, begging the simple question “why?”  Check out the full video below.

The video release comes after the band finished up their European tour this past weekend.  They will return to the U.S to tour for seven weeks starting on August 3rd in Las Vegas and ending on September 24th in Long Beach.

The band also just announced the reissues of three of their albums: Houdini, Stoner Witch, and Stag.  Read more about when you can pick up a copy here.  You can also purchase Basses Loaded on vinyl starting July 1st.
