Metronomy and Robyn have teamed up to release a new track titled “Hang Me Out to Dry”. The tune comes from Joe Mount and company’s album Summer ’08, set for release on July 1st. Other tracks on the album include “Old Skool” and “Night Owl”. Summer ’08 will be the group’s latest album since 2014’s Love Letters.
Mount claimed to want to collaborate with Robyn because of her “incredible singular voice”. Writing for “Hang Me Out to Dry” started back in 2011 but was not completed until recently.
Besides Robyn, the group has also collaborated with Mix Master Mike on the album.
