San Diego surf rock band, Wavves, has just announced the dates for their summer 2016 tour. The band will tour across the country, and hit up some pretty big events.
Their first stop on the tour is sunny Los Angeles, California on the 18th of June, 2016. After that, Wavves will make their way across the west and midwest United States. One of their biggest events will be the much loved Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago on the 28th of July, 2016.
Their last stop on the tour will take them back to the west coast to Sacramento, CA on the 9th of August, 2016. The band will be supported by Steep Leens for most of the tour. For a full list of tour dates, please see below.
Wavves has become a favorite among the indie rock scene. Their lo-fi rock sound brings forth images of Southern California beaches and unlimited chill vibes.
The band originates from San Diego, California, which definitely accounts for their surf rock sound. They have thus far released five studio albums, and one collab album with Cloud Nothings. Their most recent release, V, was released in the fall of 2015 and included hit songs, “Way Too Much” and “My Head Hurts.”
