Baltimore’s Moonrise Festival has announced its Phase 2 Lineup, adding 25 new artists to its already announced Phase 1 Lineup. The third edition of the festival will again be held at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland the weekend of Aug. 6, and will be headlined by EDM festival staples Bassnectar, The Chainsmokers, Tiesto, and Zedd.
Moonrise Festival is officially held to celebrate the Supermoon, the moment in the lunar cycle in which the moon appears larger in the sky to the naked eye than at any other time in the year. Like its past two years, Moonrise acts will perform on outdoor stages only; differentiating it from other like-minded EDM dominated festivals.
The Chainsmokers are the highest profile act announced as part of the Phase 2 Lineup. Additional Phase 2 acts include Claude VonStroke and R3hab. These acts join Phase 1 acts such as Bro Safari, Excision, Flosstradamus, Flux Pavilion, Gramatik, Griz, Marshmallow, NIGHTMARE, STS9, Tchami, Tyler the Creator, Yellow Claw, and Young Thug to complete the lineup.
General Admission and VIP Tickets are currently being sold through Moonrise’s website. Parking passes are also available.
