VICE, Live Nation TV and Corrino Films have all come together to produce an official television broadcast and live stream of the annual Governor’s Ball Music Festival. Starting tonight at 9PM, the stream will show live sets from some of the biggest names in music.
Taking place on June 3rd & 4th and beginning at 9PM both nights, the live television broadcast will feature Friday sets from The Strokes and Robyn, Saturday sets from The Killers and Miguel, and Sunday sets from Death Cab for Cutie and Vince Staples. The sets will be aired by VICELAND, the new lifestyle and entertainment television network from VICE and A+E. Meanwhile, there is also an option for those who prefer the digital world. From 4pm to 9pm on both days, Live Nation TV, a partnership between VICE and Live Nation, will air the official digital livestream of Governors Ball on its YouTube channel with extended coverage on LNTV.com and LiveNation.com.
The Governor’s Ball Music Festival is an established NYC-based festival that is now in its sixth year. As evidenced from the lineup, the festival features a wide range of musical genres including rock, electronic, hip-hop, indie, pop, and folk. In addition to music, the festival serves food from popular NYC restaurants and provides traditional festival activities like Silent Disco, ping pong, photo booths, and lawn games.
