Pitchfork reports, Canadian electro-pop duo Junior Boys, who earlier this year released their newest studio album Big Black Coat, have just announced that they will be going on tour in support of their fifth LP. Accompanying this newest announcement was a gift to the fans of this dynamic pair, a new music video for “No One’s Business” off Big Black Coat.
Kicking off their tour in London, England, at Victoria Park, Junior Boys will start their first leg of this tour in Europe, where they will perform in countries like, Italy for Astro Festival, Ireland for the Body & Soul Festival, continuing on to Turkey, and then to Portugal in order to play at Optimus Alive Festival. The band finishes off Europe early July in Spain before they set their sights on the North America leg of the tour. The duo will hit Brooklyn and LA during August, then onwards towards their Canadian turf, continuing on to shows throughout North America, and then closing out the entire tour on a 3-night run at several venues in Mexico.’
This new tour announcement also came with a new video from the group to “No One’s Business”, which was directed by Simon Mercer, and features a one-camera timelapse footage of a man setting up an art installation in his basement, periodically shaving, eating, putting on makeup, and general set up of this weird installation, ending off on a strange note as the man goes to sleep under his little project.
Junior Boys are looking to have themselves a very busy summer ahead of them, and so do all of their adoring fans who plan to catch at least one of their performances.
