Reaching out to different composers, The National’s Bruce Dessner has coordinated a concert that has come to be called “The Invisible Bridge”.
This concert will take place in Paris on September 25 at Paris’ Philharmonie. Moreover, the artists involved are sure to impress. It is said that Dessner’s brother, Aaron, will be accompanying him on guitar, while Justin Vernon of Bon Iver will be joining him on vocals. However, the musical talent does not end there. Katia and Marielle Labèqu, well-known French piano duo, will be adding to the euphonious sound of “The Invisible Bridge.
The venue they will be playing at has already made their comments about the concert. Philharmonie says, “Passing nimbly between rock and contemporary music, Bryce Dessner cultivates the art of collaboration with shared compositions and performances. For this concert, he brings together guests from a variety of backgrounds: his brother and close collaborator Aaron Dessner (The National), singer Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), and the Labèque sisters.”
