Los Angeles indie rockers, HOLYCHILD, have just released a new song. The song, entitled “Rotten Teeth,” features another notable indie musician, Kate Nash.
The fun pop song comes right on the heels of Memorial Day Weekend. Unsurprisingly, the song is perfect for welcoming in the summer with its fun and free vibe.
The song is just over three-minutes long and is full of great electronic instrumentation. In addition, singer Liz Nistico’s singing adds an incredible touch to this carefree single.
This is the band’s first release since their debut album, The Shape of Brat Pop to Come, that was released in the summer of 2015. The new single is a bit brighter and pop than their last album, but nonetheless continues with their electronic-pop sound.
HOLYCHILD was formed in 2012 in Los Angeles, California. The band is comprised of singer Liz Nistico and multi-instrumentalist Louie Diller.
Though the band does not have any forthcoming concert dates, their calendar last year was full to the brim with loads of cool performances. In fact, mxdwn reviewed one of their performances last year when they shared the stage with Ryn Weaver and ASTR in Philadelphia, check it out here.
