WATCH: Gone Is Gone Release New Video For “Starlight”

Gone Is Gone, the supergroup formed out of Los Angeles, have premiered a video for their new release, “Starlight.” The single comes from their upcoming self titled album that is due to be released on July 8 of this year. The highly anticipated EP will be released via their imprint label Black Dune Records in partnership with Rise Records/BMG. The video can be seen below.

“Starlight” was originally premiered earlier this week on Beats 1 Radio and is a very emotional track for the members of the band, especially singer and bass player Troy Sanders.

“Facing adversity with magnitudes of willpower,” Sanders says of the track. “Amassing strength to erase fear and fulfill all void with purpose. A story of survival mode. This one hits close to the heart.”

The album can be pre-ordered digitally on iTunes and will feature the ability to instantly download “Starlight” and the first single of the record, “Violescent.” The new album will also be available in physical copy on limited edition vinyl. The pre-order has also gone into effect for this copy and can be found here.

Along with the announcement of the new album and its singles, the band has also included a small tour to the excitement. The tour include stops in Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC during July of this year. The kick off show will be at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on the 7 and wrap up a couple days later in Brooklyn at St Vitus on the 13. Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
