Dinosaur Jr. Announces New Album Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not For August 2016 Release

Alt-Rock legends Dinosaur Jr. have just announced their latest studio album, their first since 2012’s I Bet On the Sky.

Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not, the new 11 track effort was brought to the attention of the people via a video featuring Henry Rollins. “I was recently sent a copy of the brand new Dinosaur Jr. album Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not and like every other Dinosaur Jr. record, it is fantastic,” Rollins says in the video. “They are one of my favorite bands and one of the best live bands ever. I can not wait for you to hear this record; you’re going to love it.”

Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not is available to preorder now at Dinosaur Jr.’s official website. The album will officially be out August 5th on Jagjaguwar Records.

Dinosaur Jr. will be hitting the road in July to support the new LP along with Janes Addiction. The tour will start abroad and then eventually circle back to the states, where J. Mascis and crew will be thoroughly touring throughout September and October.
