King Khan, Bill Frisell And Eyvind Kang Join Together To Create Musical Accompaniment To Unreleased William S. Burroughs Recordings

King Khan, Bill Frisell, Wayne Horvitz, and Eyvind Kang have joined forces to curate the album, Let Me Hang You. It is an album centered around unheard recordings of legendary author and Beat Generation figurehead William S. Burroughs reading selections from his seminal novel Naked Lunch.

The album is set to be released on July 15th.

Twenty years ago, William S. Burroughs was asked to record an audio version of his favorite parts of Naked Lunch. Hal Willner and James Grauerholz produced several sessions with the help of Bill Frisell and Wayne Horvitz, as well as Eyvind Kang, just to name a few. The recordings were then abandoned up until last year.

In 2015, Hal Willner decided to revisit this unfinished masterpiece and asked for help from King Khan. Hal sent Khan all of the recordings and asked him to add his two cents in and here we are today.

Let Me Hang You is a collection of depraved genius straight from the godfather of punk’s very own mouth.
