The annual III Points festival is coming back to Wynwood again on Friday October 7th until Sunday October 9th. This annual festival is one of the best chances to see a combination of many different types of artists in the Miami area. The concert will feature performances ranging from rock to electronic/dance, with some great hip hop talent too. Up and coming artists originating from around the Miami area will be playing alongside more established and anticipated acts such as LCD Soundsystem and Method Man and Redman.
Posting the full festival lineup here would take up unnecessary space, so I’ll just give you guys a link to the III Points website below where you can see the full lineup and buy tickets. A taste of some of the artists that will be there are DIIV, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt, M83, Dusky, and Oneohtrix Point Never. There is something for everyone here, from the experimental electronic compositions of Flying Lotus and Onehtrix Point Never, to rock from LCD Soundsystem and DIIV, even some underground deep house from Dusky. No other festival in Miami has been able to bring together a diverse set of artists the way III Points has been able to the past couple years. It has quickly become one of the most hotly anticipated events in Miami and I have to wholly recommend it. I’ll link to a couple of the artists song’s so you can get a taste for their music.
The Festival is going to be hosted at Mana Wynwood, a great venue that can accommodate all of the visions that III Points team are trying to bring together. III Points bills itself as a Music, Art and Technology festival, and that definitely shows with their choice of venue in Wynwood. Wynwood has grown into a great place for the arts and music and this is no exception. In addition to the music III Points will be hosting tech talks, lectures, and art gallery showcases. The weekend of III Points is set to be an amazing time for anyone interest in any of these things. There’s no other festival with such a diverse set of draws.
