LISTEN: P.O.S. Releases New Song “Wave”

Minneapolis-based rapper P.O.S. has released a new single, “Wave”, courtesy of Consequence Of Sound. The track features Moncleas Boston and Sophia Eris.

The music itself is an atmospheric affair, which naturally features a fast-paced flow from P.O.S. The chorus has a well-timed hook, and the song overall controls all it’s moving parts very well. It’s part club-banger, part Sunday afternoon hangover cure, but it all works, fitting nicely into the style of hip-hop that is prevalent today.

P.O.S. has enjoyed a pretty good career for himself up to this point. The veteran rapper has released four LP’s, the last of which, We Don’t Even Live Here, was released in 2012. He also has a remix album to his name, WDELF/MDX/RMX, which dropped in 2013.

The new track comes at just the right time for the Summer season, and will no doubt be heard blasting out of a car window or two. Though the quality of the song is good anyway, the timing of the release may be the biggest score for this single, as it can be soundtrack to anyone’s wild night out, or low-key hangout. Can’t really ask for much more than that in terms of versatility.
