Die Antwoord have stayed fairly low key since the release of their 2014 album Donker Mag, but have recently reappeared with the news of forthcoming mixtape Suck on This and three new songs.
The South African duo have established the mixtape will have suggestive air about it, with the release of songs “Gucci Coochie” and “Bum Bum.” Group member, Ninja, said “Bum Bum” was inspired by his girlfriend when she mistakenly said she wanted tattoo “in her bum,” rather than saying, “on her bum.” He goes on to say “Bum Bum” is his “first romantic Spanish porno rap adventure.”
With lyrics like “I like it that your mind is a mystery, I like it when we fuck and you just leave,” which can be heard in the song “Gucci Coochie”, the suggestiveness of the new mix tape is amplified. The song also features burlesque star Dita Von Teese, as well as, The Black Goat & God.
The duo also released the song “Dazed and Confused” which pays respects to the idea of starting your day by getting high. The song is addicting with carefree beat thanks to producer GOD. Suck on This will be the group’s fourth LP, and is scheduled to be released Thursday May 19th.
