Houston Open Air festival has just announced the lineup for their 2016 event and features top-notch headliners including Alice in Chains, Deftones and Slayer.
This will be the festival’s first event, but the festival doesn’t seem to be the least bit amateur. In addition to featuring an incredible lineup, the festival will also feature a selection of great whisky and what they claim to be “Gourmet Man Food.”
The festival will take place this fall on the weekend of September 24th and 25th, 2016. It will be hosted at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Houston Open Air is set to be the biggest rock event in Texas, with a slew of incredible acts on the ticket.
Houston Open Air will offer several different ticketing prices for different levels of the festival and are expected to go up as it gets closer to the actual event. Single Day General Admission tickets are $69.50 and VIP is $129.50, General Admission Weekend passes are $99.50 and VIP Weekend Passes are $234.50. As their press release states, not only will the music festival be a weekend full of incredible acts, the festival will also benefit the city of Houston. A portion of the ticketing sales will go towards the Greater Houston Storm Relief Fund that aims to help the community and its members recover from Houston’s recent storms.
