English rock band, Band of Skulls, have released a new video for their single, “So Good.”
This is the band’s first single and music video to come off of their forthcoming album By Default.
The video features a fluorescent kaleidoscope of images. The video’s vibe mirrors the dance influence of the song, as well as its liveliness. It zooms in and out of images of the band and a few models. The symmetry of the video gives it a very appealing look, and its deep neon colors accentuate the song’s energy.

“So Good” comes from Band of Skulls’ upcoming album, By Default, which will be released May 27, 2016. The video was directed by Jack Lightfoot, who has done work for other notable musicians and groups including Noel Gallagher and Bastille.
As mentioned in the press release, By Default, will be a bit of a departure and growth from their previous albums. This song in particular, for example, features bassist and vocalist Emma Richardson on lead vocals for a change.
Formed in 2004, Band of Skulls hails from Southampton, England. Members include Emma Richardson on vocals and bass, Russell Marsden on vocals and guitar, and Matt Hayward on drums.
Thus far, the band has released three studio albums. Their most recent studio album is their 2014 album Himalayan. Later this month, however, the band is set to release a new studio album, By Default.
In addition to releasing a new album this year, the band also plans to tour. Included on their stops are various festivals, including the Forgotten Fields Festival in the UK.
