Colleen Green Announces Summer 2016 Tour Dates

Colleen Green has just released a new EP and is following the release with a tour across North America.

The new EP will consist of six songs and is limited to a mere 350 metallic gold cassettes and was officially released today as part of the Infinity Cat Series, curated by Casey Weissbuch. The new release has been described as having a heavy classic punk influence as Green refers to it as having a “Ramones-Core.” This is certainly an intriguing spin on the indie pop musicians usual work. As the press release invited listeners and fans to “allow yourself to be taken back to a simpler time when the Brill Building bustled and teen punks hustled; when pop music was more about craft than commercialism.” The new EP can be streamed for free below.

The new EP will be followed by a highly anticipated Summer 2016 tour that will take Green across North America. The tour will begin on May 19 in Los Angeles, CA at the Teragram Ballroom and wrap up with show on July 9 in Des Moines, IA at the 80/35 Festival. The tour will take Green‘s punk/pop infused act to such major cities as Brooklyn, Boston, Baltimore, Cleveland and Toronto to name a few. Green will be accompanied by varying bands such as The Thermals, Childbirth & Diet Cig, Chastity Belt and Cassie Ramone on different shows. For a full list of tour dates and which acts will be featured on which dates, please see below. Ticketing information is also included below.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
