The pair, consisting of singer Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman, finally released their debut album, Begin, in February of this year. The album features collaborations with artists like Pharrell Williams, Childish Gambino, and Andrew Wyatt (of Miike Snow). But it’s been a long time coming. And in fact, fans of the duo who have been following along for some time have heard several of the album’s tracks already. The track “Treat Me Like Fire,” which is also on Begin, was released way back in 2012. In 2014, they released their debut EP.
With a new album, and a summer tour of the US, Lion Babe is poised for a big year. One you’ll definitely want to be a part of. Don’t miss them when they make their way to The Foundry this summer!
