Rob Zombie was caught being a good guy on Facebook yesterday as he defended Japanese pop trio Babymetal.
Zombie posted a picture hanging out with the trio on Facebook yesterday. Some of Zombie’s fans weren’t too pleased to see the image so they went ahead and shared their thoughts. And Zombie didn’t hesitate to respond.
When Zombie isn’t calling out people on Facebook, he’s preparing for his tour this summer with Korn. The two bands are gearing up to play in 25 North American cities. The tour is in support of Rob’s recent album, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration.
Meanwhile, Babymetal are currently on their spring tour in support of their latest album, Metal Resistance.
Stereogum described Babymetal’s sound as, “a hybrid of old-school power-metal and new-school Japanese idol music.”
Babymetal was 2015’s breakout all-girl fronted Japanese heavy metal/teen-pop hybrid group. The members of the group include 18-year-old SU-METAL (Vocal, Dance), 16-year-olds YUIMETAL (Scream, Dance) and MOAMETAL (Scream, Dance), backed by a four-piece band packing a heavy metal arsenal.
