Slayer and Anthrax are charting out a tour this fall, beginning September and running through October. Brooklyn Vegan reports that the heavyweight bands will thrash their way across the states, including a stop at the Rock Allegiance Festival in Chester, PA with headliners Avenged Sevenfold and Alice in Chains. The bands will also head north to Canada to play a pair of shows in British Columbia.
The two bands are part of the highly-praised ‘big four’ of thrash metal, along with Metallica and Megadeth. This title has kept the bands busy – Slayer just completed a tour with Carcass and Testament, and Anthrax completed a trek of their own with Lamb of God, Power Trip and Deafheaven.
Death Angel will be touring with the bands as well. The Bay Area group has just released a video for “Hatred United/United Hate” from forthcoming album The Evil Divide.
