On June 10th, Jon Bellion will release his new album, The Human Condition. And in support of the new release, the New York-based singer/producer is headed out on tour. He’ll kick things off in Boston on June 20th, and head here to Philly for the second night of the tour, on June 21st. The extensive US tour will finally wrap up in NYC at the end of July.
The Human Condition is Bellion’s first major label release. But thanks to four mixtapes, and tracks like “All Time Low” and “Woke the Fuck Up”, he has managed to gather a strong following that will surely be in attendance this June. Aside from his own material, the 25 year old also has songwriter credits for hit tracks like Rihanna and Eminem’s “Monster.”
Drawing inspiration from artists like Kanye West, Pharrell, Coldplay, and John Mayer, Bellion has managed to create a genre-bending sound that perfectly suites him. He told the Huffington Post, “I’m just a product of the 90’s to be honest. I was raised on TRL, and listened to every genry that sounded good to me, from Sum 41 to Jay Z, to Band of Horses to J. Dilla, to Death Cab for Cutie, to Pharrell. I just never really thought you could or couldn’t listen to a certain type of music.” Take a listen to Bellion’s new music, and grab your tickets to see him when he heads to Philly this summer.
