Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar Join Anderson .Paak For Coachella Weekend 2 Set

After the absolutely historic performance last night that found Dr. Dre joining his former N.W.A. bandmates Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella during Ice Cube’s set Saturday night, Dr. Dre made another surprise appearance shocking the festival audience on Sunday. Dr. Dre appeared again, this time with new protege Anderson .Paak. After a worthy introduction from .Paak Dr. Dre performed three classic cuts from his solo career: “Next Episode,” “Still D.R.E.” and “California Love.” The latter two songs he also performed with Ice Cube yesterday.

Additionally, Kendrick Lamar made another surprise appearance at Anderson .Paak’s set, just before Dr. Dre’s appearance. Lamar performed “Backstreet Freestyle” off his hit album Good Kid M.A.A.D. City. Watch videos of Dr. Dre’s appearance with Anderson .Paak below.
