Run The Jewels took the stage for the second weekend at Coachella 2016 and did so with some force. They made a pretty strong name for themselves last week with the performance they had that included their introduction by Bernie Sanders into a NAS, Gangsta Boo, Boots and Gary Clark Jr. aided show. However, the hip-hop duo is not one to set a standard that they were not willing to shatter into a million pieces and they did just that. The second weekend’s performance included some of the same contributions, such as Gary Clark Jr. Boots and Gangsta Boo, but it also introduced De La Rocha, Big Boi, Travis Barker and DJ Shadow. The video from each of these performers on stage with Run the Jewels can be seen below.
The first week’s performance has Clark Jr. lending some riffs to back the duo during their closing song, “Angel Duster.” This week the blues-rocker lent his talented guitar work after the conclusion of the song “Crown,” seen below.
Boots took the same route as the week prior and performed a song from Run the Jewels II that he appears on, titled “Early.” A video for this performance is not included.
The Tennessee hip-hop legend from the infamous Three Six Mafia, Gangsta Boo, performed her collaboration off of Run the Jewels II, seen below. She performed “Love Again” the weekend prior as well.

One of the new comers to the Run the Jewels star studded stage at Coachella, Travis Barker of Blink 182, played during multiple songs. Naturally, he performed drums for the song “All Due Respect” that he featured on in the recorded version. But he also performed the song “Nobody Speak” with DJ Shadow and Run the Jewels. This song is featured on Shadow’s fifth studio full-length ablum The Mountain Will Fall, set to be released on June 24. The performanc can be seen below.
Big Boi, of the acclaimed group Big Grams, also took the stage without Phantograms this weekend. He performed his verse from “Banana Clipper” as well as his verse from the Big Grams song “Born to Shine,” seen below.
Finally to close up this band of talented collaborators and wrap up one of the biggest shows at Coachella 2016, Zack De La Rocha took the stage. He performed his verse from the song “Close Your Eyes (and Count to Fuck),” which can be seen below.
